This looked like it should be a winner with Tori,
since she loves feathers.
Some people have complained that their unit was poorly made & broke down quickly.
I thought it was pretty well made & well designed.
It takes 3 AA batteries.
The post coming out the top rotates,
which causes the feathers to move about in an unpredictable manner.
There is a knob which controls the speed.
I recommend starting it out slow when you first introduce it to your cat.
It has 4 legs that extend out to give the unit more stability so it is less
likely to tip over when your cat plays with it.
Some people report problems with it tipping over when their cats play with it.
There were a couple times when Tori tipped it over, but that wasn't much of a problem.
My cats only weigh about 7 pounds,
so maybe it's more of a problem with larger cats.
The first day I brought this home,
I had a blast watching Tori play with this.
She played with for about a half hour,
and went after the feathers pretty agressively.
After that first night,
Tori never showed much interest in it.
Katrina, who is a little shy,
seemed interested & watched it,
but only pawed at it cautiously a few times.
Recommendation: It looks like a well designed toy, but my cats lost interest quickly.
